Got a preapproved offer from them for the "Getmyvisa.com" deal.  I was a little hesitant to apply since I wasn't sure if it would be worth getting another $500 credit card right now but I bit the bullet anyway.

I got the instant online approval for $2800!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This will be my highest CL as of now and I think it might make some of my others go to bat and start trying to match it!!!

This board has changed my life completely.

Since coming here last July, I have brought my FICO scores from the 460's to 641, 638 and 671 and they are still climbing.  I have since bought my house and "new" used Honda Accord.

This site is a blessing to all who use it.  Thanks for allowing me to read about situations like mine or even worse that have taught me how to fix my credit life.

Since you're on a hot streak you might consider asking for a

credit limit increase upon activation. Check the forum for a

WAMU backdoor number and let us know what happens.

What sort of baddies do you have on your report, and how old are they? I'm curious because I receive a ton of pre-apps from WaMu, but I've been holding off on applying.

Did they pull TU for you?

I have a BK that is just over three years old from discharge.

I have one late over two years ago on a First Premier card which was crap anyway. 

I have a previously late Ford truck payment or two.

I have a repo (wife's that was in my name--not passing blame, just answering your question).

I don't know what they pulled yet.

I like WaMu! I worked my way from 200 to 12K in over 4 years. Just make sure to pay all your bills on time!

I just got WaMu too! They only gave me $2k. Didn't think to ask for cli.

When calling to activate Hooters I did ask them about me measly $500 credit limit---they tripled it!

You might try that when you activate yours!?!

Just wondering if it normal they pull TU and EX... I had EX freeze and they denied even though they gotten TU pulled...
