Looking at the rewards available for my new WaMu Real Rewards card, I was surprised to see that, besides the standard cash back, statement credits, gift cards, travel, and merchandise, you can use rewards points for things like:
2 percentage point reduction in APR for purchases for 6 months
1 Late payment fee credit
1 Overlimit fee credit
Does it strike anyone else as kind of strange to be able to use rewards points for those things?
