I was just approved (4/24) "In-Store" for the Walmart card, wanted the Walmart Discover card but oh well, I'm glad that I will be getting the free monthly TU scores. I had to show my drivers license and a major credit card (showed my Kays Card). Approved for $300, wasn't too surprised after reading some of the initial limits they assigned but my EQ is the lowest so hopefully the card will grow every 4 mos. I also have a Old Navy card with GE since 6/10, stuck @ initial $300 limit, although I always PIF and let statement report $0, not sure if my small affiliation helped with approval for Walmart or not.
**Walmart did a HP on EQ**, and after EQ reported inq, my score dipped 13pts from 611 to 598?? (ouch) then after EQ reported Walmart new TL I thought that I would at least get a few pts back from EQ but none so far.** Only inq I had on my EQ at the time I applied was one, a HP from NFCU the day prior when I opened up an acct there.

Congrats on your WalMart approval!
Quick question?... WalMart/ GE pulled Equifax? I was under the impression that they pulled Experian.
Nope. Typically it's EQ, on occasion TU.
Congrats on the Walmart card. With time they might upgrade you to Discover. Gotta love the free FICO score too.
In Pittsburgh, PA Walmart pulled my EQ. Not sure if they ever pulled EX, most posts on here say they usually pull EQ.
Crunching-numbrers, yeah I'll definitely take the 2nd place Walmart card and the free TU scores; can't beat it! Maybe by December, they will show me the luv for the upgrade offer.
Nice
I thought it was the other way around. GE has only pulled TU for me.
