Good question. I asked this question to credit analyst when I got my WM card. She said they like to see an active account. I asked what do you mean by active?
Active every month? Active 3-4 times a year?
She said she more they see usage of the card, the more likely you can get a CLI. She specified that my spending habits has to justify them giving me a CLI.
I then asked is there an amount for usage, she said no.
FWIW that's what I was told.
Yay, I just hit the luv button and went from $950 to $1950! Haven't used the card since Jan. 11. Try to do a CLI every 4 months. I think the card started at $350. Always been a soft for me!
