You can get up to 100/day from the register.

No fees if paid in full by due date.

Not considered a cash advance if paid in full by due date.

Re: Walmart Quick Cash???

The only other thing to add is you have to make a purchase to use the feature. It's a good option if you can't make it to the bank but happen to be in a Wally World or Sam's.

Actually, you don't necessarily have to pay by the due date if you have a grace period.   The Cash Over is treated like a purchase.    So if you'd have a grace period in effect on your purchases, you'd have one on the cash-over transaction as well.

IIRC, the store card is limited to $60 per day, but the MC has a higher limit of $100 per day.   This may have been updated, so someone else may need to clarify if you can get more than $60 per day with the store card now.

Re: Walmart Quick Cash???

My store card (6k limit) has a $1,200 cash over limit and $100 per day can be withdrawn, but it must be all at one time each day. So for example, I could not take out $60 in the morning and $40 that same afternoon. It would have to be $100 all at one go.

And, actually, I could purchase just a 40 cent candy bar and get $100 cash over if I desired, as there is no minimum purchase. (that is when candy bars are on sale, ha ha - most of them are closer to a dollar now! Smiley Happy

However, when I previously had a lower credit limit, the daily limit was $60 and total cash over was only $300. I think it depends on the individual profile.

I don't really use my cash over amount but it is nice to know it is there.

That's good information.

Last time I did cashover at Wally, I just got $20.00 over a $0.69 charge (split transaction between GC and Wally CC).   My overall cashover CL is only $200, for some reason.   However, I have Sam's Club MC and Discover It that each have more spending power there.

I would definitely have not have known if I had not asked the rep in chat, as it wasn't clear that it was one total transaction per day when I received the recent cash over increase.

I'm not sure I know their rhyme or reason for their cash over limits. My prior CL was 3k for a while, and the cash limit was $300. Now it's 6k with $1,200 cash limit. I was surprised and pleased by that.  I have used the card quite a bit over the almost 3 years I've had it, so maybe they liked that? Not sure.
