Just received the capital one Walmart rewards in the mail. Strating credit line is only $500 so I'm interested to know if this card is involved in the credit steps?

I don't have any idea what 'credit steps' might be, but my Cap1 WM Rewards MC has a $10,000 limit--which hasn't increased by one cent since Cap1 acquired the account--if that tells you anything.

I remember credit steps I don't think cap 1 uses the term anymore .but they usually give a increase at 6 months for their lower limit cards .I hope so 2 more months to go for me congrats BTW what was your scores when approved if u don't mind .thanks
Isn't it just 2% in-store? Boo. I'd love a 5% in-store all year long.
Got my Walmart card almost 4 months ago. After the 3rd statement they only want to increase it by $100. No thank you.
Mine increased $500 after 6 months.

$100 from Cap One is more than most get on this card. In regards to the Walmart card, there is stingy and then there is Cap One. I would definetly not choose a Walmart card if i expect/ want growth from a credit card

Not especially with 3 hard pulls, no thank you!

Starting Score: 560If you shop at Walmart regularly then the card is worth it for the 5% Cashback. Some people put too much stock in credit lines and such. The card will still grow.
I'm going in 3 months with this card. I was meaning to research threads on the growth of it also.
Mine is also only for $500. I'm a single shopper so I can work with that for now but I hope to grow it to at least $2000.
