Ok, I want to app for a Zync card, I know Amex usually pulls Experian, and I have a 700 score, which I think should be good enough for the Zync but due to buying a new car this year, and the dealers finance guy applying for a loan to I think every bank known to man, I have a large number of Inquires, 24 to be exact.
I have never made a late payment, or have anything bad coming up on my credit report.
Should I app for the Zync card? I really do want it, but I don't want to waste an Inquire at this point because there are already so many on there
Thanks,
Jim

Go to the link below see if you are pre-approved for, They will only do a soft pull, and see if you do apply and have to do a recon, talk to a human and explain about the car dealer doing all the pulls.
If you have at least a year of open accounts and your 700, you should easily get the zync, I got blue and had a pre-approved for Green and Zync as well. I had 6 Inq and a 710 at the time. And they gave me the best interest rate,
longest credit account was 2 years 9 months, and average age of cards 1 year 2 months. and a car loan. No lates, a 6 year old judgement and 3 year old medical collections.

really??? niiice! I thought they didn't accept applicants that have collections on their CR.
Ok guys thanks! Does any one still have the phone number to recon at the executive office? I really want to go into a gardening stage, but my wallet feels empty without an AMEX
Going to pre-approval site now, will post back when done
"Sorry we are unable to find any existing offers for you at this time" So what should I do? App anyway, or wait?
sure, might as well, since the inq will go quite nicely with the other 24... and call for a recon, if they denied or give you the 7-10 notice
Can anyone give a good tutorial on how to recon? I have tried reconning 2 times before with no success and I feel like I always do it wrong.
does anyone have the exec office for amex recon, I recently app & got denied but they did offer the $500 w/autopay. When I checked this morning on the status, it said declined. I called the cust serv # & I swear it sounded like a Peggy & he had no clue on what I was talking about, the $500 w/autopay. He kept saying wait form my letter, so I'm thinking if I call the Exec office to recon maybe I'll have success. I read here that amex screws up on the banking #'s, I think maybe thats my case.
