Like putting a bullseye on our back
...
Although I understand what you are getting at principle wise
It's not about fairness. CCCs are well within their rights to terminate the relationship at any time for any legal reason. I, myself, exhibit risky behavior with my "aggressive credit seeking" so will accept the consquences should any arise.
The person's sister who had one card and was shut down might have a case(depending on if nothing else was happening) but for everyone else, we all know, or should know, this does happen and be adults about it.
I don't even understand what the point of contention would be in the emails. They aren't supposed to warn you of the actions they're going to take behorehand, and you do get notice in the mail afterwards.
Comenity shouldn't have a monopoly over 90% of store cards and their problem would partially solve itself.
.. They kinda created this mess themselves. They got greedy and the consumers got greedy and no one is winning out of this, especially not the retailer and or organization they partnered up with. Anyways I agree we all know the risks of our actions although comenity should certainly fix their computer systems as well and auto decline after x amt of inquiries i certain period or time and/or new accounts and get rid of SCT as well as this is part of the issue

I mean we all play by following the rules. Why we get punished and they don't have such policy. ONE APPLICATION OR TWO APPLICATION AT TIME.
Again, most people do not spree. I'd imagine they never needed to make such a rule considering that the majority of NON MFicoer's do not exhibit such behaviors. Also, it could be coming soon. Chase recently did it. Maybe we'll get official notice in time. Seems like a new policy.
LOL aggressive credit seeking is so not "following the rules"...

I agree, but banks don't follow the rules and they just take the fines as breaking the rules profits outweigh following the rules a risk they are willing the take knowing they will get slapped, but worth it to them. We all play a sick game both the consumer and the banks and all try to "play" the system.

...and get rid of the easy available credit lines. I've had my Jcrew card for 6 mos., bought a sweater, PIF, and now have a $2400 CL. It's too soon, too much IMHO (but of course i'll gladly take it).
