Top Tier Detergent Gasoline

TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline is the premier standard for gasoline performance. Six of the world's top automakers, BMW, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Audi recognize that the current EPA minimum detergent requirements do not go far enough to ensure optimal engine performance.

Are you saying that my Pilot Oil 87 octane ethanol cheap-o gas is hurting my Accord? Smiley Very Happy (wouldn't be surprised)

Accords last forever.  I have a 2006 Accord EX.  Wonderful car, except for the hard seats.  I don't see Pilot Oil on the Top Tier list--

In addition, all gasoline outlets carrying the brand of the approved retailer must meet the TOP TIER standards.

Re: Welcome to Chevron!

Anyone have any luck getting late pays off from Chevron/GEMB lately? I have 2 from a year ago and have sent a couple of GW letters but they always write back saying the late pays are correct and they have to stay on there.Smiley Sad

Re: Welcome to Chevron!

Dont mean to bump or hijack this thread, but one interesting note about GEMB taking over the Chevron card. I had about 1000 bal on the card with chevron and my monthly payments were about 130.00. Since GEMB has taken over the account, my minimum monthly payments have dropped in half, and I am carrying about 1200 balance. Not sure why the min monthly payments are less. Havent read the "fine print" on GEMB. Peace
