I just recieved my wells fargo cash wise card and activated. I do not have a wells fargo checking or savings, so I tried to set up my credit unions account as the account to pay the wells fargo payments...it would not let me do it. After extensive conversation with Wells Fargo, they assure me a link will appear there to make my credit union checking the payment account once I have a balance to pay. I need a current wells fargo cash wise user to confirm this...please help!!

Sarge - Do this...go to your CU's website and go to their BillPay service enter your Wells Fargo Card number as the account number and the amount you want to pay.
That's what I do for my WF CC payments. Takes 2 days to post which is normal.
I have a message there saying that my billpay is suspended and giving me a number to call during business hours...have not used billpay in years so that is probably why it is suspended...starting to wish I had not decided to get the wells fargo card. Every other card I have is easy to set up a pay from account from another institution. This is stupid.
ITs there, be patient my friend. You can also push payments from your CU.
As soon as I get the SUB...This Wells Fargo card will find a special place in the SD for sure. I wont close it due to the 15000 CL, but this card is begging for the sock drawer.
If I owned a bank I would make it easy as possible to PAY me....I mean don't they want to be paid???? At least it seemed to link with quicken well, unlike some other cards I hate...TD bank, Barclaycard, State Farm bank...all stink...now I'll add Wells Fargo to the smelly list.

You can always go in person and make a payment either with cash or a debit card. Just for the first month then get the issue fixed with your BillPay
I am sure I'll be able to fix billpay over the phone Monday...My credit union will bend over backwards to keep me happy, I'm sure they deactivated billpay because I have not used it in 10 years and it probably deativates for non use to add a level of security. I just recieved the card today so I have lots of time. I just do not like a bad online setup, and I expect better from a major bank.

Did it come as a Visa Signature? I know WF can be finicky with this and approve at > $10,000 and still not be a Signature.
