I checked my laptop computer and cell phone for malware and virus everything is fine. I to am not sure what happened. I do know the local radiology Lab had a breach 6 months ago and everyone's info could have been hacked. I have all 3 credit bureaus locked for my safety.

BIN attacks are extremely common now.  I think institutions generally avoid advertising that they've been affected, since maintaining consumer confidence is crucial to their business.  Credit cards are only 16 digits long, and, because card numbers have a structure, it may be that only three of those digits are truly random.  With the computing power available to fraudsters now, it isn't hard for them to brute force card numbers.
