I may apply for the Wells Fargo Reflect as a new customer. My datapoints: 800+ FICO, no recent INQs or accounts, and average credit lines exceed 20k. All cards PIF except one card on 0%.
1. Did WF match your SCL with your average CL? Was your SCL above 18k?
2. Can you product change to BILT or another card after 24 months?
Thanks.

- Experian HP (for me in the past) but others have reported TransUnion HPs in Ohio, could be anyone. I seen an Equifax AR SP after reviewing my credit report.
- Responds well to accounts like checking and savings, so I opened them and made a small deposit to meet min. account balances to avoid fees in February. Maybe consider going for their new checking account SUB for $300 to increase your odds for getting the starting limit you'd like?
- Used to be you could reallocate limits if you haven't used your card for anything in six months, but it was just reported February by someone that they were able to do it as soon as they made sure there was no balance on the donor card.
- When I log into my Wells Fargo app on my phone and click on my Active Cash, then "Manage", I see an option to "Switch my card" from Active Cash to Autograph Visa. You should try to find someone in here to verify with a Reflect though to see if you can change that card to a rewards card, because that might be handled differently since the Reflect is not a rewards card(?)
- From my skimmings over the last month, and there's been a lot of if specifically for WF, starting limits are generally not bad if you have an established credit profile, but the best limits seem to be on their Active Cash and Autograph cards. Their Reflect seems to be generally less (but not dramatically) than the other cards, possibly because they want to limit their exposure to large BTs?
- They have a pre-qualification, if you run it and don't accept, you can check the "terms" (if you pre-qualified) and see your _firm_ starting APR. If you write that down, close out and circle back to the promotion page and look at the terms again you can see the three different ranges. That might be an indication of how things will go for you.
- I have read about _some_ success using the reconsideration line, but it was always 50/50 and unfortunately a lot of starting limit recon data points were 5 to 7 years old.
I think you'll definitely get approved, but its hard to say what your starting limit will be as you don't have any history with them. I think you'll get a 5 digit limit would be my guess, but thats just a gut feeling.
I don't know how soon you're going to apply, but I'm going to apply in about four weeks. I'll share what I find out, because I'm going to try and recon the starting limit no matter what, then also do a credit limit reallocation next whether the spending limit recon is successful.
If you do your application sooner, can you update us on whatever data points you accumulate?

Alright, so that was a quick data point check for you lol.
My wife opened a Reflect card 25 months ago. There's no option for her to product change for the Reflect even with a 0 balance after two statements.
Her initial spending limit was 10k, with a very similar looking profile to yours and _no_ history with WF.
My initial spending limit was $16,400 for the Active Cash, with a strong profile but a lesser average age of accounts.
You should hang tight and wait for another person to validate with _their_ Reflect too about product changing it, because it might be skewed for the wife.
We've been juggling debt on promotional cards for a few years while recovering financially, so we've swapped debt back and forth between us while keeping one of our profiles solid while the other is extremely utilized.
She did used the BT promo to utilize 87% of the total starting spending limit and they did a CLD to $8,650 after ten months, but extended the 0% promotion by another three months to 24 total months towards the end.
She might not have the internal scoring history they like to see to allow a product change which is why you'll want to see if someone else can validate for you
@omgitsMatt and @iamdetermined, I appreciate your response.
The Reflect's 0% APR period is the best available, but if a PC isn't possible, the card lacks value after 21 months.
From the feedback, I think I'll stick with my original app plans and pick up another BofA card. I'll share DPs after I app.

It doesn't look like a PC is possible from everything I'm reading. You can switch from the Autograph to the Active Cash, or vice versa.
I think the only hypothetical value after the promotion period ends would be to do a credit limit reallocation to either the Active Case or the Autograph, but since you don't have either of those and likely don't need either of those, then you're probably making a good call.
For the record, I saw several people mentioning that a PC or credit limit reallocation to or from the BILT wasn't possible either.
Good luck on your application, hope you get everything you need
I opened my first CC with them 2 years ago. 20,000 SL, credit score and debt was down. Used it to finance accident repairs, and carried the balance for all of the term. Had no checking account.
