Re: Wells Fargo Secured Card Finally Graduating!

That is awesome! Wells Fargo are stubborn.  I also had a secured card recently graduated from them.  Took them 18 months though.

I opened it with $300 and never increased during that time. After my card got graduated, a few weeks later they increased my credit limit to $1000 without even asking for it, so that was cool.  I'd watch out in your account in a few weeks for an auto credit increase.  They didnt even let me know, I found out by looking myself.

Re: Wells Fargo Secured Card Finally Graduating!

Nice work! I opened my WF card in 2012 with $300, boosted it to the maximum over the course of ~16mo and it graduated at ~18mo. I remember a phone rep saying they'd never seen someone crazy enough to do $10k on a secured card, but I did it because I felt an impending graduation and wanted the highest CL available once I unsecured.

Call them in 6mo and ask for a CLI; be sure it's a soft pull first. I bumped mine up to $25k over a year or so.
