Wells Fargo Secured Graduated after JUST 9 Months

When I log into my account it still says secured card. From my recollection, I will not be receiving a new card either. My upgrade was to the Platinum Visa, which I already had when they sent me the chip-enabled card this past summer. I know the letter said the upgrade would occur by Nov. 20th, but when the reps continued to tell me the 13th was the date, I expected something to happen. Idk what would have happened, but I would have at least like to have seen the secured card label removed from my credit card account. Oh well... guess I'll continue to wait...

Woke up this morning to see my "Secured Card" now labled as "Platinum Card." Credit limit is still the same. Kinda hoped for an automatic CLI because it's been so long, but I dont care.. I've managed to get other unsecured cards with higer limits over the past few months. Anyway, deposit is on its way back to me.. FINALLY haha. Hope everyone else is seeing their account status change this morning too.

Just happen to call up to ask about a CLI and they gave me one. It was not a HP and not sure if it was even a SP. It seemed like they just had an amount available to me if i ever asked or that was my planned bump whenever they reviewed. I dont really use the card because the limit was so low but I'd prob use more if it were a rewards card.. that will be the next call later today probably. current limit $1,500 was $700 before call.

Lady Ang and Jdana.. I wonder if the accounts being upgraded this cycle are done one-by-one by the lone credit analyst that works long hours and gets no co-worker love. (He's prob smelly and has long mangled hair) IDK.. but its weird how this is rolling out. This was my first secured card and I had it for a couple years. I kinda thought all of our cards would automactically rollover to unsecured at 12am on the 13th. Keep us posted.

Just checked online and my card went Platinum today! Same limit though. I'll call in the morning to see if they can increase my limit.

I called this morning for a CLI and it was a no go! Ugh! But it was a SP from what the CSR said.
