Reason I ask is just applied and approved for Sams Club MC--3% dining (includes fast food) and there really isnt a limit since the annual reward is capped at 5k.
If you're spending more than that, well salud!
Had been using my Amex TE card (2%) but didnt really know of any better options. I know CSP is mentioned quite a bit, but correct me if Im wrong, its 2x points for dining, which is like 2%? Is there any other card out there that beats out 3% with that this ceiling?
US Bank Cash plus is 5% i think but caps at first $2000 spent per quarter and I thought I read somehwere that Fast Food and Restuarants are not always available categories. I also have Chase Freedom and Discover It, but again the $1500 cap is pretty easy to hit (for me)and only offered 1 quarter.....
I eat out 4-5 days per week, so just curious. Thanks!![]()

My best cards are the Chase Sapphire and Citi Thank you cards so those will be the ones i use for restaurants
I have had my Cash+ for restaurants and fast food. I switched my restaurants to something else and if I go to a restaurant I will use my Sam's card next quarter for restaurants.

Use my 5% rotating cards during that quarter (FYI: Freedom is now) any other time I use CSP because I try to maximize my UR points for travel.
My best card for dining currently is the Sony Card for 3X Sony Rewards points. I plan on getting AMEX TE in January, which will become my go-to dining card. I may consider Sam's Club down the line, however, or maybe even Chase AARP.
I use US Bank cash+. It alweays has Restaurants and Fast Food as options. The problem is that those are two separate categories, so if you choose both, thats it for 5% categories for that card.
To which i say: then apply for a second US Bank Cash+ ...
I use my Arrival + for everything lately inspite having a portfolio of cards. I also registered the Arrival + along with a couple other cards to AA Dining rewards so I receive points with Arrival+ along with gaining mileage points in American Airlines. So in a sense it is double rewards! :-)
You are the perfect person to ask this then...ive heard conflicting stories but can US Cash + be applied over the phone or in branch only?
If yes, can someone float that number again por favor?

The Citi Forward 5x (no cap). Re why people suggest CSP. If they are transferring URs to partner programs, they can get 2, 3 or more cents per point in value, so it can be more than 5%. Also, CSP is uncapped, unlike say Cash Plus.
