What credit cards do you actually use and why?

1. Chase SR- my daily driver (card just opened on 10/11). I will be smoking this baby out to gain my 50k sign on bonus

2. Cap1 QS- used to pay all my bills (that except CC’s). And card used by AU

3. Citi DC- used for large balance transfers and as a back up to my other two CC’s (this card is my oldest, has the highest CL & lowest APR)

AMEX BCE - Gas and groceries

Uber Visa - Restaurants, travel, online purchases.

I have 4 cards right now. I currently don't use Discover or my Citi ThankYou Preferred card as with Discover I am only earning 1% back (using Amazon prime card for 5% back and only shop at Costco) and the ThankYou points program in my opinion is not worth the hassle of going thru, since i point is approximately worth .8 cents, which is embarassing in my opinion. I am using my Amazon Prime card as I get 5% back at Amazon and I get 2% back for restaurants, which is an absolute must for pretty much any college student in my opinion. Looking to use my Amex Cash Magnet card when it comes in for pretty much everything else but restaurants and Amazon.
