Smiley Sad  Just call in!  It won't hurt--It won't help, either--and you'll likely get your response faster!  It might seem like people who call get bad news, but I think that's a correlation/causation problem; I can't believe calling would hurt anything!  Just give it a shot.  Good luck!

Sorry to hear that! But at least now you know!  Get some history with them and I think you'll be there.  Obviously you were right near the line this time, so a little more might just push you over into aproval land.

I feel like I wouldn't get approved if you didn't.

I just got approved for the Green charge and BCP with 2 paid collections on my EX report from 2011. Also report still shows 2 CC chargeoffs from 2007 (one paid/other unpaid).  Just received my EX Fico letter from AMEX and they approved me with a score of 686 ( i guess down a little bit from the BoA inquriy previous AMEX inquiry a few days earlier and new BoA account reporting). So i think you have a good shot!

Re: What is the easiest Amex card to get?

It's ok. I'll get it or a better one eventually it was prob all the inquiries. However the CSR gave me a number that's not in the stickied thread. And I got instantly through to someone.
