I'm relatively new here...can you please tell me what the difference is between an AmEx credit card and an AmEx charge card?
Thanks,
I have Amex Blue Sky CL is $2k and i think i will get stuck at 2k since AMEX is **bleep** stingy and so stupidity..

Concorduser, as you may already know from previous posts, my Blue started at $1K and doesn't look likely to budge any time soon.

Thanks,
Lynette, the AE charge cards are the Green, Gold and Platinum ones (well, and the fabled Black Centurion card, too, for the ultra-rich), which one is supposed to pay in full each month (sometimes the option to pay over time is offered, but generally speaking, one has to PIF each month).
The AE credit cards are the revolving-balance type on which you can pay over time, if you wish - the Blue/Blue Sky, hotel-affiliated cards, the Costco card, etc.
Hope this helps.
