Hi all,
My lowest limit card is capt1. It started at $300. and increased to $500 after 3 months. It has stayed there since 2005.
My BoA started at $500 and now is $2500.
2 HHB cards atarted at $500 and now $950.
Cards opened:
BoA 2004
cacpt 2005
HHB 2005
I kinda like the low limit as I use it for the online shopping.
Still not great but Ive come a long way from the "payday loan" days.
I got a Target card in October and the limit is $300. I tend not to count store cards as "real" cards, so for major cards, I just got a Capital One with a $500 limit.
These are almost steps backward for me, except that the CapOne has a 7% rate, which is my lowest rate and I'm hoping the CL will grow. Otherwise my other cards start at $1,900 CL but the rates are crappy.
Lowest: Amex Delta Options @ 500 -- formerly an Amex Delta Gold w/ a 1k line
All limits: 7k, 6k, 5.25k, 5k, 5k, 4k, 4k, 3.5k, 3k, 3k, 2.8k, 2.5k, 1.9k, 1.5k, 1.34k, 800, 500
I have two Cap Ones at $500 limit...one is 7 yrs old, other 6 yrs...I actually love these low limit cards and carry/use them more than any others... another Cap One I have with $4500 limit...that one I save for BTs.
My highest limit is a 5 yr old Providian/WAMU card that started at $1500 and grew to $12,500 in less than 3 years.....It stopped growing after WAMU took over Providian. WAMU did give me a new $6000 limit card though.
