Its not optimum but Double Cash or sometimes Amex CM.. esp if i have concerns about purchase protection....
And CM (currently) has contactless... just ordered the DC variant.....

CFU but considering BofA Premium Rewards...a slight shift to cash back while I use up some miles and certificates.
Not very happy with BofA banking, though.
CFU for everything that's off category...
Discover IT Miles. I just got it last month so I earn 1.5% back now and get another 1.5% when they give me my match in a year.
Until I fulfill my 3k spend for 50k MR it's my shiny new Amex Gold.
Then it will be a combo of BCE for Gas, Gold for Groceries, and QS1/Cash Magnet for everything that doesn't fall into Discover's 5% category.
Sheesh, it's a full time job keeping up with which to use for what.
Off-category I use my PSECU which is 2%.
I'm thinking about eventually grabbing a DC whenever a SUB comes back around to add a MasterCard to my collection to replace the PSECU. I am gardening though so I hope they don't bring it back too soon.
And just because: gas, groceries and restaurants go to my Hilton, travel goes to my BoA PR and online purchases go to my BoA CR. I substitute my Discover in for whatever the 5% category is those months.
I use DC. Most of these purchases lately aren't needing an extended warranty (bed, already has 10+ years on mattress, full year gym membership, car maintenance, golf, cable/internet, lawn service, auto insurance (6 mos), eyewear) so its perfect for that.
In my wallet:
AMEX Gold - all dining, groceries
Costco Visa - weekly Costco
Apple Card - anywhere Apple Pay is available (really no need to carry this)
Alaska Airlines Visa - when Apple Pay is NOT available
