What the heck is going on with Synchrony?

It seems that anyone changing addresses can be creating problems as well. I would imagine anything out of the norm like a change of address could potentially be a trigger for potential fraud abuse so maybe that can trigger their wanting to view that persons profile?? I can understand wanting to protect us ( and i imagine them) from fraud but in cases where you are maintaining your accounts in good standing, that is what is maddening

I don't think your address has anything to do with their decision for adverse action. It's all income related. Kinda strange how the only accounts being locked have huge annual salaries being reported. The lowest salary reported being locked was either $83k or $87.

I have a friend who is a manager at lowes. I mentioned what I was reading here and how a lot of people were talking about just closing synchrony accounts rather than waiting to be hung out to dry and he was shocked since its apparently a huge mandate for everyone to push financing at the store. He also said their people like to use it to their advantage if someone is price shopping lowes/Home Depot. I really think people should be complaining to the retailers. I know I don't want to use any of my synchrony accounts now for fear they are going to close them all before I pay off.
