So I'm coming up on 13 months with my Amazon Visa and I was wondering what I should do with it. It only has a $1300 CL, the smallest for my prime bank cards. I wanted to Change it to a Freedom but I was wondering if I should go with a CLI first? I would be willing to take a hard pull for CLI. I want to get rid of the Amazon Visa because I'm looking into getting the forward later this year witch gives 5 points on Amazon.
So what should I do?
PC first to Freedom?
ask for a CLI? on Amazon Visa first
or get Citi Forward card then PC and CLI the Amazon card?

Are you sure you can PC to the Freedom?
I asked a CSR and she said yes but said I had to wait till my card was 1 year old.

I would call and ask to PC and CLI at the same time. If they won't let you do that, I would PC and then ask for a CLI.

There is no backdoor to it. The Amazon Visa is a Chase card. The Amazon store card is a GEMB product.
Keep your Amazon card and apply for the Freedom separately. I have both and they have been very good with CLI's that have doubled the credit line each year for two years. Chase has been good to me.
Must be nice, Gomer. I'm coming up on 2 years with my Chase Amazon, and it's STILL at the meager $1000 I started with (and now have an Amex at $6,000 and USAA at $8,000). Every time I attempt for a CLI, they state it must be a hard pull.
I sent in a secured message asking about a product change and the person who responded said it was not possible.
