I am looking for a CU that pulls TU. All of the local ones in my area pull EQ (which is my lowest score). I would like to build a relationship with the cU so that when my scores are higher I can apply for a CC.
I am not in the military and my family are also not military other than two of my cousins and they are both overseas.
TY

Most CU's that are TU-pullers are in the Upper Midwest, where TU rules.
Now I'll get out of the way for members who know of exceptions.
Thank you ! I just need to take a breathe and wait for my disputes to go through to see if having a CU pull Equifax will really be a negative.
Anyone else?
I think this one pulls TU, but I would call to verify it.

United Federal Credit Union (www.unitedfcu.com) pulls TU only. They have a very spotty membership area (half dozen Mighigan townships, one city in Ohio, one county in Arkansas, and 2 counties in Oklahoma) plus about 1000 employer groups.
They require a minimum score of 600 for consideration and they will counter offer if you try for something you cant' get. Theyw ill also do instant approvals (with explanations) over the phone.
Also quotation from their membership eligibilty page:
If none of the options apply, you may still qualify for membership through other means. For further assistance please contact our Member Service Center at 888-982-1400.
They are also known for offering the highest APR on checking account 6.01%

thank you all for your responses. I will check these out and give them a call.
Has anyone have any direct experience with these CU's?

I have checking (yes the 6.01% version) and Platinum VISA with United FCU. Got a $10K CL with a 688 TU score so high limits are possible with middling scores. Great customer service so far.
I have been looking at the website and I will give them a call. i just really want to deal with a CU that will allow me to grow with them and great customer service is a definite plus. Thank you!
