Hi, first post!
I have ~10 years of good credit history with no negatives and scores hovering around 740-750.
Never been a big user of credit cards, I only have one open card - a BOA platinum visa from my college days with a 2k limit. Looks like in order to push higher I'm going to need more available credit, so I'd like to open a no-fee cash back card to earn some money back for the effort.
Which of the following would be most likely to get me a $4-5k+ instant approval?
Capital One Quicksilver Rewards
Chase Freedom
Amex blue cash
...others?
Just ask to up the limit on my BOA card
Welcome to the forum! Some of the best no-fee cash back cards are Chase Freedom, Discover It, and AmEx Blue Cash Everyday. These would be a great place to start. With your scores and credit history approval should be no problem. Your credit limits will be based on your income, as well as credit scores.
Let us know how it goes if you apply!
I would do a co branded store card or anything really lo, discover it is good and chase slate. nordstrom visa or bloomies amex., your credit is excellent and youi shoulfd be very proud

IMHO
ask BofA for a CLI
Apply for the Amex and Chase cards I think you are good for both.
I don't say this often either.....Go for it![]()
I'd say get your current card a limit increase and wait for update in your credit report and apply for a credit card, regardless any way you go you have a high chance for approval base on your credit history. Amex, Chase,Discover or Penfed are good cards.
I say go with QuickSilver since you're not big into cards. That's 1.5% cashback on everything without worrying about rotating categories that come with "exceptions" you can't beat that!
