Re: Which USAA Card to get?

They took away my credit cards and now are only offering my the USAA MC Platinum with a 25K limit and 12.15% APR - erhh. I wanted the 8.25% APR! I wonder why this happened?

However, I do like that hefty limit!

OK, plan to get on the phone first thing tomorrow morning (weekend people are good, but they can't do stuff.) I think I know what happened: USAA pulls EQ, and they softed you, and they saw your new unimproved score! Smiley Surprised I know that they're looking at them, because at one point during my HELOC app, they mentioned my current sad EQ score.

Don't know if they can/ will budge, but you should definitely let them know about the split file and subsequent screw-ups. They might not change things right away, but they might be willing to reinstate your offers and APR once you're glued back together. (Scorewise, that is.)

Right, just took another look at the above, and it looks excessively maternal! My youngest's car was broken into while she was at work, and my mom antennae are on full alert.

But I do think there's a good chance that USAA softed you and saw your new EQ score, and got alarmed or something. Anyway, good luck!

Re: Which USAA Card to get?

Good point (and you're funny) - thanks haulingthescoreup.

However, I'll wait until 11/01 to call and make the case. By that time I should be all fixed up and then hopefully they'll bring back back my old offers and I'll apply right then and there. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the advice and support!
