As you guys know that Wells Fargo has decided to discontinue their Propel card from November of this year....So, they are automatically converting this card first to Autograph credit card, but if someone has Autograph card then they are converting it to Active Cash...In my case, I already have Autograph card. So, I have received a letter and an email as well to notifying me that from October/November my current Propel card would be converted to Active cash. I am not sure if this Active card is good or not, so I am contemplating to get my Propel card converted to another card issued by Wells Fargo.
Do you know which card I should choose? Do you think I could request them to convert to a card of my choice? I have only two cards to choose from- (1) Reflect card which doesn't seem to do anything for me; (2) Bilt card which seems some sense to get some points...What do you think, or what you should have done if you were in my shoe? Tnx

Wells fargo decided on what card to give you. They will not let you choose. I was in the same boat with already having a active cash and autograph. They were going to give me another autograph. They told me I had to wait 6 months after conversion to change it to something else. I ended up moving the credit limit to another card and closing it. No sense in having 2. The active cash is a nice 2% catch all card if you don't already have one.

You are right that Wells Fargo decides on what card to give it to you, but their email and mail also suggest that we would like another card then we can call them to request for it. I personally don't find Active Cash to be much appealing to me because this card has not much going on...2% CashBack is nothing. I have tons of other cards with 2% cards which I dont get to use for many many months because I use other cards that offer much higher CashBack. Don't know but I am leaning towards Bilt card...what do you say about it?
im pretty sure WF wont let you product change to the bilt since its a cobranded card.
your only options are the active cash or autograph or reflect.

You can try maybe they might have changed things closer to conversion but a few weeks ago when I tried they told me I had to wait 6 months after conversion. I don't think you can change to a cobrand card at all. You can always just wait 6 months and change it to something else or move the credit limit to the autograph and dump it like I did if it has no use to you
I have two Autographs along with my Propel. My PPL was thankfully converted to the Active Cash.
Echoing what @chuckwood has noted about having to sit out during the 6 month lock out period.
Who knows if WF will allow one to PC yet again from the PPL replacement.
You can move all but $500 (I think) of your CL from the redundant card to your AG and AC.

Didn't know that one could have two of this-Autograph card.....
Ok...I did call today to WF, and I am told that the outgoing card- Propel could be converted to only two cards, either to Autograph or Active Cash. Not even to Reflect one. Though I have not received my new converted card yet, and it would take 5 more weeks to receive...by the end of next month in September...as I am told that its in the process of conversion. They wanted me to wait until I get new card to do anything...either product change or relocation of CL from Propel card....

WF will not let you product change to BILT. I asked last September about this option. There's no harm in asking though.

You are right and I did post this afternoon that I did call them today early in the morning, and they said that they allow product change of Propel card to only these two cards- Autograph or Active Cash which kinda surprised me because Reflect card is also their which is not a co-branded card....
