Re: Which card allows you to customize card image?

Well Discover has an image gallery. You can't actually upload your own picture if that's what you wanted.

Capital One has this functionality but it's been kicking errors on their core cards lately. I have a custom image on my Platinum turned QS and I can change that one but my SavorOne kicks an error every time I try.

SSFCU has image cards too if you're eligible.

Otherwise none of my lenders in my wallet allow custom images that don't come from their gallery (which Disco offers).

Maybe because your QS started as a Platinum? I thought they only offered it on their Platinum card (and maybe secured or student). I've never heard anyone mention custom images on a card that started as a Venture or Savor.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

I just PC from Platinum to QS and got an error, too. I assumed that you couldn't customize QS. It's still allowing me to attempt to customize my other Platinum.

That's what I have heard too but you would think they would remove the link from cards that aren't eligible or at least pop a window that says something like "this card isn't eligible"

I think they should just remove the functionality altogether at this point. I still believe that my custom card image is why my card is still a Platinum and not a World Elite Mastercard.

Use to have my regular QS with 10K SL with a custom image on it when I had the card so certainly wasnt this way forever.  Probably don't want you to mess with the branding anymore of their cards?

It's been a long time since I've had a Capital One card (2015 or so), but IIRC, when I customized my card, it retained the Visa Platinum logo even though the card was a Visa Signature (upgraded). Some kind of system limitation where the image card kept the original network designation even if it had been upgraded, or something. No clue if it's still like that. But yeah, there's a lot of quirks with the customization system.

Discover lets you choose from a lot of designs, but they don't let you upload your own. Most banks seem to have gotten away from it. BoA and I believe Wells Fargo used to offer it.

Maybe I'll just call them and get rid of the image. I heard it's a whole process so I never bothered with it.

FNBO NRA card offered a custom image of your choosing. I am fairly sure they still do. I think their Ducks Unlimited card offers same but not sure.
