I would recommend American Express Blue Cash Preferred, my all time favorite credit card. Because it has a $95 annual fee while the Blue Cash Everyday has none, I had to weigh my decision carefully in deciding which one had more value. Ultimately, I chose the Preferred; it's worth it. 6% cash back at grocery stores, 3% at select department stores and gas stations, and 1% on everything else. You should also get the Citi Double Cash to use on non-categorial spending; 1% back on purchases and 1% on the balance you pay off, so effectively unlimited 2% cash back. It makes for a good tag team. Or you could get a Chase Freedom Unlimited, which is unlimited 1.5% cash back if you are planning on getting future Chase travel cards since you can transfer points.
US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature $5000 | Chase Freedom $1500 | JCPenney $1500 | Bank of America Cash Rewards $2500 | Discover It Cash Back $3500 | American Express Blue Cash Preferred $6000 | Chase Freedom Unlimited $1500

Just a quick reminder that the BCP no longer has 3% at department stores for new applicants, although they haven't nerfed it yet for existing members.

Thank you everyone the replies.
Here is a little more background:
My fiancé and I have just brought our newborn baby home, so on top of what we spent prior to her being born, it is about to increase dramatically.
Since I do not know what a month of spending will be like just yet, I can use averages from before and assume that they’ll go up (just in the grocery store aspect)
Gas- 400/month
Groceries- 280/month (this is an average) mostly at target and Walmart
My cards are as follows-
Wells Fargo Platinum: 0 balance, 7000 limit “Rewards” card from my local Credit union- 0 balance, 5500 limit
Kohl’s - 0 balance, 800 limit
Tractor Supply- 0 balance, 4250 limit
Citi simplicity- 2900 balance, 6100 limit
Zales card- 0 balance, 4000 limit
Best Buy- 850 balance, 2000 limit
Mattress firm- 0 balance, 5500 limit
Genesis credit (from mattress 1)- 0 balance, 2000 limit
Chevron card- 0 balance, 2200 limit
bp card- 0 balance, 500 limit
Rooms to go- 1050 balance, 6500 limit
Synchrony home (used to be hhgregg)- 0 balance, 2500 limit
I just did a balance transfer to citi, so I am no longer paying interest on that balance and everything else has a promotional apr of 0 so I am just using the opportunity to make those larger purchases.
FWIW, I do bank with Chase. I just recently moved to them, if that makes any difference
Just to give you some food for thought - If your purchases are at Target and Walmart, your best bet is to get the Target Redcard and then use a 2% CB card for Walmart. Since your grocery purchases are not from stores that code as grocery, there would be no point in getting those cards.
As for Gas - at $400 a month on gas - I would definitely recommend getting the Ducks Unlimited Gas card - 5% CB on gas.
