Just wondering which are the most popular cards for 800 and up credit scores?
Umm, you don’t need a 800 score for the best cards.
There is no special cc for 800 scores.
What ever card fits their spending habbits the best. Or not. I would say most people with credit scores that high probably have one credit card still in a paper sleeve, and use their debit card for everything.
The Platinum Card from American Express is generally well-accepted as the card you must have so that others know (or at least think) you have an 800+ score. It is the little red sports car of the credit card world. In practice, a score in the mid-600s is fine for the card.
Whatever cards suit your personal lifestyle. The biggest difference may be the starting APR but if you PIF then it is irrelevant.
I'll let you know when I get there. Only 100 points to go! NBD.
I have a two-part answer:
1. For the MF community, whatever they want. With some cards, though, good credit alone won't make up for insufficient income or assets.
2. For most people...that is, people who don't micromanage their cards...often whatever they've been using for the last 5 or 10 years.

+ 1, I have Ficos about 845 and just a few cashback cards.
No need for anything else. I don't want to start collecting cards, chasing SUB's, fishing best points return, product changing, chasing CL increases, etc. I do take my 100+ month cashback but don't want to waste a lot of time with dozens of cards, and other CC games.
Much better ways to make money than credit cards.
I hit over 800 awhile ago. Not exactly sure when. Was just wondering what typical cards were. All I did was keep balances low and always pay in full over the years. Wasn’t hard to get there, but benefits seem to just be access to the best financing deals and credit card terms. I still can’t qualify for invitation only cards or anything like that.

That's the point. With time, and if you don't "mess up" (either by doing something stupid or forced to by circumstances), don't apply for lots of credit and always pay on time, you will fairly easily reach 800+ And precisely because it's not that special, there are no wonderful benefits for so doing. For lots of things best rates can be had a little lower, around 760 or so.
