Which report is used?

Is there a way to know ahead of time which report a lender uses before applying for a card or a loan?

Well, you can search here for that creditor.  People typically report what was pulled.  There's a search feature here and I would just enter the creditor and see what people have to say.

Also, there's a credit pull database that I remember someone mentioning it here.  Here, I just googled it:

(Mod Cut-Link, Im sorry links to any Credit Repair Organzation are not allowed on myFico)

Enter the name of the creditor and any name derivations thereof and you should be good to go.

Okay thank you a ton. I don't plan on applying for anything, I wanted it for future references. I have a whIle until I apply for any more credit.
