Ummm..... I did
Not planning to switch. I put my everyday spending on a 1.5% cash back card anyway. Any lost benefit would more than offset the difference in the cash back rewards structures.
What benefits are lost if switching from More to It?
Frankly I thought that everything remains the same. Please correct me if I'm wrong (while it's not too late :-) )
I didn't convert my More card. The IT card is asthetically beautiful, but I don't run enough through it for things to matter this way or that. $24 for a credit monitoring svc and $12.95 for another, and maybe gas but that's IT...LOL...IT...
Anything else, I try to put on my Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Card to get points toward airline tickets this year.
I just switched today, but I can't get my card yet because my statement closed yesterday. I have to wait until right before next statement to get it.
Ok, I finally converted two days after I said I wouldn't. The sweet rep in Utah went over the benefits with me again and there is no downside from switching to the IT from the More. You get $24 more of the first $3k spent and late payment and over the limit forgiveness---That is the only difference, she stated that it is a more customer friendly version of the More that Discover is rolling out. Essentially expanding upon their great customer service.

Same here. I use my More for the bonus categories and use other cards for better rewards outside those categories. I'm just not very motivated to make the switch.
No harm in switching, but the 1% isn't enough to pull spending from other cards.
Even with the IT, I think Discover is still a "categories" and "online" shopping card. They excel so much here that they're becomming a "specialty" card. I'm sure it isn't what they had intended.
I switched one of them and I have the other two remains Discover More.
