FYI -

I applied for both the Gold and Plat Charge Card. I got the good ol system response...to check back within 24 hours.

:cross fingers:

I did!

They don't go by Hawaiian time so it was too late today!  System says to check back 24hrs but aren't they closed on Sundays?  **bleep**, they like pullin' my leg or what!  hahaha.

Anyway, I am hoping for the best.  Hopefully, they will give me either one...ever since I got my Delta Gold back in Nov 2007...I've paid in full so I think having a charge would benefit me, esp. with the added perks.

Wish me luck...

Tony

hi kclb, you'll get it. Relax. Since you applied for both gold and platinum they might be waiting to figure out which one you want.

I forgot to mention that I also applied for the Green charge card and was shot down instantly.

Holy ****! I got approved for the Delta Gold Skymiles! I've never had a prime credit card before. I can't believe I actually got approved by American Express. CL of 9k too. I guess I just had to wait for my most recent late payment to turn a year old.

The delay was because for some reason they couldn't resolve my address. We had to conference call the local CU I bank with and they approved instantly once my address was confirmed. He even said he was going to rush send it for the inconvenience.

Amex!!!

Update: Got approved for the Amex Gold Rewards Plus Card. I decided to cancel the Platinum app.

Can't wait to get it this Friday!
