I don't have the option to do a balance transfer to a checking account.
I have my disco checking acct linked, and added as a payment option.
is it because I haven't yet made a payment to the disco card? I made a small payment today to test it.
As @AverageJoesCredit pointed out, some balance transfer offers don't have the option of transferring it to a checking account.
Yes, but Discover does--as shown in my screenshot. It's always like that for me, in other words, it doesn't vary from offer to offer.
But maybe it's on a per-customer basis, and the OP doesn't qualify yet.

My disco is in the 5th year. I never had that option before. Maybe it is only available to older accounts who had it before. I have only seen this, transferring into checking option in my BoA
That's interesting. I see it on all of my accounts, including BofA, Discover, Citi, and others. Also, the offers I receive via snail mail always have checks included--which you can make out to yourself and deposit.

@RobotDR hop on chat, ask if BT checks can be mailed to you.
