OP - While your file may be thick by some regard and provides some cushion, it only goes so far. 12 accounts in a short span is excessive and leans on the overextenson side... so, AMEX did the right thing by not extending additional credit. As others have mentioned, this may take 12 months or longer before they can see if you're elegible for a CLI.
I think I better get ready to head to the garden for a while.....
