Why no pre-quals?

Every pre-qual CCC I tried I got nothing, even with BOFA where I bank. I'm not interested on any card right now, I'm just curious on the matter.

I would think that since I don't have many credit cards, decent income and fairly thin file I would be targeted by some CCCs.

Why don't you try for a credit limit increase on that Cap One card? A lot of people are getting pretty amazing successes with the increase button, but there is always the EO route if that doesn't work. It's your lowest limit card, so it would be nice if they gave you a reasonable bump to put it more in line with your other cards. You can also ask them to product change it to the quicksilver or Venture if that works better for you.
