If there a big difference between World MasterCard and just a MasterCard? Im sure this question has been posted before but just wondering

Usually a World Mastercard requires a $5,000 limit or more.

How about World Elite? What is the threshold to go from World to World Elite? Is it just a CL or something else?

It is my understanding that some companies require a certain amount of spending to upgrade you to this level. Some companies offer a World Elite (Ameriprise).

My friends Citi AA that she has had since the 80's was recently upgraded to WE because she spends over $25k a year on the card.

It is my understanding that the Barclays US Airways does this too.

I could be wrong though, who knows lol.
