Re: X1 CLD

That start up $$ is probably drying up in this current market.. they right away closed my account with a 25k limit after I used their 5x? Apple Pay promo on the full 25k looool

I mean, I had Final Visa (absolutely loved it), Blispay etc... but this card, I actually don't like it..

Re: X1 CLD

Wow! Thanks for the heads up as I'm sure this will happen to me as well eventually. Not really going to use this card for anything other than a couple of purchases here and there to keep up appearances lol

I also had Blispay.  While it was a great product (obviously too great for its own good) that experience is part of what kept me from applying with X1.

I'm not saying 'never again' when it comes to FinTech but I guess enough time hasn't passed by, LOL.

Re: X1 CLD

My account got a cld also. I went from $28,500 to $11,000. Same reason was given. I have only put about $1300 on this card in the 6 months I've had the card.

Sounds like they are running out of seed money and need to free up some for reserves and possibly hoping for some new customers that pay interest.  Sorry about your CLD along with other likely to come.

Bingo, and this is the reason I wont ever go for such a card until its proven itself with staying power.

Re: X1 CLD

Very interesting. I have a few friends who I recommended grab the card just for the high limits. Now I kind of regret it if they slash limits for average spenders. Thanks for sharing.

Re: X1 CLD

Well that's certainly discouraging. What's the point of boasting about 3-5X SL if they're only going to slash it in half almost immediately after opening...

Re: X1 CLD

They haven't cut my 29k limit yet. I have only put $1500 or so on the card since I got it late last fall. FNBO cut me from 15k to 500 last month for not using the Getaway card, so I won't be surprised if this card's limit gets cut. I am watching my Aspiration card carefully for similar cuts. My era of getting a momentary thrill of getting large lines and then never using those lines is over lol Smiley Happy
