Yes!!! i got approved for another Credit Card!!!

i am so excited....i am not sure of what my scores are currently, i will check next month....i was reviewing this site, as i always do..and i decided to take a leap, and apply for a Capital One Credit card...i completed the application on-line, picked out a "fancy" card, and hit submit!! guess what, i was approved, only for $300.00, but approved.....the funny thing is, i have a negative on my credit report from Capital One from 5 years ago, which i have been disputing for years! it was sold to an attny.

now in my wallet i wil have HSBC...CL $300 (12/11), Bloomingdale's.....CL?? Balance $1,600 (5/11).......Cap One..CL $300 (2/12)........AmeriCredit/GM Financial......$25,000 loan balance (1/12 ~Not reporting yet, 1st payment due 2/19/12)

When can i request increases in the HSBC and Cap One Cards?? i am so excited.... i am on my way to rebuilding!! i will be refinancing my car with NFCU in 6 months, i might apply for a credit card with them at the same time....i am currently banking with them now....

You can REQUEST a CLI at any time, however I've been told Cap One isn't currently accepting customer initiated CLIs. In any case, the odds of getting an increase are roughly the odds of panning a gold nugget in your bathtub.

But, congrats on the approval, this will help you get other cards in time that will grow ith you. It's a good start!

I would apply now for a Navy Card... you might be surprised how quickly you could close these toy cards and get moving in good banks.

HSBC request every 6 months, Cap1... Good luck but you can try every 6 months.
