When you get this msg "we coun't find any pre-approval offers blah blah but we think you'll like this card..."

Is this a generic msg to get you to app? Or did they actually show you a card you might qualify for?

It doesn't mean you will get approved, it just means they didn't send you any preapprovals. Don't take the hit if you don't think you'll get approved!

I didn't. I'm supposed to be gardening... However I guess I took a HP this morning for the bill me later thing. They only asked for the last 4 so I assumed it was a SP. I have since learned that is not the fact. Bummer!

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Haha! Thanks!! I'm back to the garden.

I want a house! I have to get my score up!! We are giving ourselves a year to repair and hoping to be able to buy by the end of 2014.

I was in a big hurry before but my situation changed in so many wasy over the past few months so I have no choice but to be patient now. It is for the better, I hope.
