Your thoughts on CK CC approval odds

Like it says in the subject. When CreditKarma gives odds as very good on a card, have you found it accurate?  Thanks

There odds are worthless to be honest. More of a guess or estimation in a wide range.

My CK score is like 60 points lower than my real ones, so in those cases the odds for me are pretty damn goid, but since it can be the other way around it say it's a crap shoot.

CK odds are pretty much as good as their scores......not so good. Their odds are an estimation at best. I would never put much stock into them.

Mine fluctuate so wildly on a daily basis that I don't trust them. What I REALLY find odd is that when my FICO was lower, CK would suggest that I had a good chance for Cap 1 QS. Well I have raised my FICO by like 80 points and now CK only suggests good odds on Secured cards.

So ummm errrr yea, I don't trust CK's odds

Go check the actual prequal of what they recommend.

The best that CK can do is correlate but remember that correlation != causation.  Don't rely on CK's recommendations.  Don't rely on prequals.

Just kidding.... Use CK for your credit reports but not too much stock in the scores. Even though the scores are not fico 8s at least the TU stays on par with my TU vantage acore so in that regard its reliable and can at least give a little heads up on how you are doing credit wise. My CK right now is like 643 but my actual fico is like 689 so if i see if my Ck hits like 680- 700 i know my score should be better or higher with fico. Not a bad tool just use with caution. Great say!!
