Re: Zync: return of the unicorn?

CSR made it sound like the current members would remain the same, however they would have access to the new pack system that they are coming out with.

I'm gonna be quite pissed off if this is the case. I didn't neeed to PC then.

AFAIK the only reason to PC was to switch from MRe to MR, unless you were going to one of the higher tier rewards multipliers like PRG?

I'm not sure how accurate the initial rumor is as of yet, may be nothing, but I was intending to keep my Zync in it's current state anyway... if they make it more useful again as a rewards multiplier of some sort, I'll be tickled pink.

Re: Zync: return of the unicorn?

Unless have full MR is important, I'd argue the Zync is the best valued Amex charge card.  Ideally, use the Zync to accrue points with the accelerated rewards categories, then upgrade or apply (for signup bonus and fee waiver) to a full MR card when ready to redeem for travel.

In lieu of this rumor, I'm going to keep my unicorn and see what happens

Re: Zync: return of the unicorn?

Whatever happens, I hope they don't up the AF. I'm only keeping it open to maintain a relationship with Amex and because it looks cool. Smiley Tongue Plus it's kinda handy to have a charge card.

Me too. Even if they do up the AF, I hope it will still be lower than the Green. I will still keep mine, anyway.
