And it will take you longer to get 3-4 prime cards especially if you keep apping.  You have to let your accounts age.  People with tons of inquiries have less of a chance of being accepted for prime cards.

+ 1,000,000

If you really, really want a couple more prime cards, then do what everyone keeps telling you, and what you know you have to do: stop and take a break.

There is absolutely no indication whatsoever that prime credit cards will vanish from the face of the earth 6 months from now. They'll be there when you're ready.

Re: amex blue....

i apped for a bce with 15 and was denied instantly and then called ex offices and asked for recon was called back in three hours and denied again but it was only because they want more history from my gold card and said to apply in six months and if i got denied he would have it reviewed again.

Also said they have no problem lending but just like people to have history with there own cards it shows them how your habits are.

My Cards
BBVA/Compass 2/12 $ 5000 ----- Chase Freedom 12/10 $3000 ---- Cabela's 1/12 $3000 -----US Bank FlexPerks Cash Rewards 6/11 $3000 ----Walmart Discover 10/11 $2814 ------ Discover More 11/11 $2500 ----- Amazon Store Card 2/11 $2100---- Amex Zync 4/11 ---- Citi Dividend Platinum Select 3/11 $1950 ---- BofA Cash Rewards 12/11 $1000
