How long have you had the card ? It took an long time for me to get an sp cli from nearly ten months. Just be patient with them
I would figure that if Discover will approve a 2nd card they would also approve a CLI with a HP. Not worth the cut of the AAoA and the HP for a lender that does offer SP CLI. Just patiently wait...it will happen one day. It took me 15 months but I am now fully happy with Discover and think it was well worth to patiently wait for the CLI. Almost drove me crazy reading all the auto luv but never anything for me but kept waiting and finally it worked well. Good luck!

I was in same boat , i was not too pleased seeing people get auto cli in 3 months with scores 100-150 lower than me :-( Was finally able to get an cli which i was pretty thrilled about.
Your AAoA to me is more valuable than your average CL. I mean, you can always increase your CLs -- your AAoA is exactly what it is and is only increased with time. Why lower that number just for a new account to raise your CL and then closing that one down? Not a good plan.

+1 and not all lenders would easily transfer the CLs and close brand new accounts... and then what... cut AAoA and two cards with lower limits? Definitely not worth IMO.

It happned few weeks ago, I was really thinking about canceling card at end of the year if i didn't get an CLI, but i thought to myself that would be stupid by cancel an no AF card. The only thing i was thinking was this lower limit card may effect other apps.
