can't get approved!

[rebuilding]

ok i have been watching for about a year now and have gotten a lot of crap cleaned off my credit.  time to start rebuilding!! 

I keep seeing people saying they have gotten approved with scores much lower than mine...

I make 90k/yr and have no debt!  the only thing on my credit now is a car with roadloans for 19 months never late.

i had a bk 5 years ago...

my scores:

TU: 593

EQ: 611

EX: 569

I want to start establishing some credit i am paying 18 filth flarin percent for my car loan!

been declined by cap1, hooters, kay, jerod,

even got a first premier "no bs your really approved" in the mail and then got declined for that!!

any suggestions?

I did get approved for crown jewelers though!  ;-)  not sure how much that will help me...

Try Credit One Bank...they give cards to people with scores like you have.  $69 annual fee plus a one time account charge of $29-$69, credit limits from 300-1000.

Hi rebuilding, and welcome to the forum. There's a wealth of information here and many knowledgeable people to help you on your credit journey.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Do you have any other credit cards other than the one's you mentioned? How long have you had your cards? And what are your current balances?

Do you have any other 'baddies' on your credit reports other than the BK? Like late payments, charge offs, collections, judgments, tax liens, etc?

Barring that information, have you considered trying for a secured cc?

Perhaps your credit file is to thin(not enough accounts reporting) for a creditor to make a valid judgment to grant you credit.
