cap1 using stale fico data for cli

Hi, I know this has come up before but i cannot find any threads on it...friend got a recent 30 day late removed from another card.  trying to cli cap1 and it comes up with "The credit reporting agency has reported a recent credit delinquency" which is not correct at this point.  chat csr and supervisor are so outsourced they don't understand the query.  friend does not do well with these types of matter so phone is not a good option.  is there any way to have them use more current data for the cli or any other thoughts or idea would be most most welcome.  thank you

Either apply for another credit card with them so they pull a recent report or wait until they soft your equifax to get an increase.

After I hit 3 statements I was trying to get a cli and they were using an old equifax report from the end of August. 

 

Only way is to just keep asking for a CLI every week and hope they pulled a more recent soft inquiry.

 

I was able to upgrade my Platinum to a Quicksilver with no annual fee after they updated their records with a recent eq soft pull.

thank you for the response.  do they only sp eq?  her ex was pulled today and zero sps from cap1 and she has 3 low limit cards which is odd.  no more cap1s for her, trying to get her into chase.

im not sure if thats who they only soft but when i got my notifcation letters from cap one on the denial they show me the equifax score from end of august which still hasnt been updated this month when I tried again. yet when i tried the upgrade link they upgraded me from a platinum to quicksilver

so they send a doc, good to know thx.  she did 2 recent upgrades to QS1s they must be softing something, tried to get an eq for her yesterday but n/a online, I would imagine they are messed up because of all that has been going on.  I think you are right, the soft pull intel is the thing to follow here.  mucho thx, have a nice weekend
