on finance glode it says chase continental worl mastercard is for people with fair credit and has a high approval rate...anyone?

Not sure on that one but I just applied for the CHASE SOUTHWEST RAPID REWARDS

and have to wait 30 days to see if I am approved..

chase uber hard...didn't u get amex? congrats.i applied for Disney 2 weeks ago and got 30 days.  I am holding out for that one.  may take a while.  I am very temped to apply for some more stuff but i really don't need it. it's addicting

I just recently applied for the Continental Chase World card with scores in the low 600's.  Have a tax lien, 2 paid CO's, and a ton of inq's.   Good util, good pmts for the last year or so. 

Got denied for the World card which has a cl of 5000.  But they gave me the Plat card which has a cl of 1000.  I tried everything but no way would they give me the World Card. 

With the Plat Chase Continenatal you don't get the Presidents Club passes, the two discount coupons, and you get less sign on bounus miles, 20,000 right now for the world card, and only 15,000 sign up bonus miles for the platinum card.  Other then that all of the other Miles bennies are the same.  They said I could upgrade later when my credit report allowed it.
