chase - combining limits

has their been any talk about chase not allowing the combination of cards from co-branded to in-house? i remember i combined my amazon rewards with freedom last year with only having the amazon for maybe 3 months? is that still a go? (in general)

Re: chase - combining limits

Unless something has changed, you can pretty much combine limits on any and all Chase cards, whenever you want. The only caveat is that if the account you're taking from has been used within 30 days, you usually have to forego $500, or just wait 30 days with no activity and then move the whole limit. But yes, in general they make the process quite simple.

idk about that $500 rule though because my amazon visa was only $500 and they let me move the whole thing to the freedom. maybe because it was so low? lol
