childrens place

I have a childrens place card with a 250 limit. I called asked for a credit limit increase, but the rep said they would have to pull my cc report. Well, I asked if it would be a hard or soft inquiry and she said hard. So, I just said forget it. Does anyone know which credit report they use???

Is this backed by Chase?

If so, then yes, they are usually hard and there is no telling which bureau they may pull. They will use any of the 3, normally depending on where you live.

I'm in Louisiana and normally it is EQ, but I have had them pull from all 3.
