credit card deliveries by fedex

So some of the card companies are sending stuff to me by Fedex. It arrives in the middle of the work day when I am not here and since the company is requiring a signature they don't leave it. I can sign a waiver and tape it to the door (not the most comfortable thing to do), but do I have any other options? The pickup location is nowhere close to me and I have no way of getting there. I went on to my fedex account and the waive signature line is greyed out. I can schedule delivery but it will require me to pay money to do so. Really inconvenient and the end result is it takes me at least an extra day to get all packages of this nature.

I'd say the tape to the door is the best (free) option. other option would be to request USPS shipping but that would probably take more than just the extra day unless you were able to get them to send USPS overnight (usually how cap1 does overnight shipping)

I think the waiver is your only real option. Deliveries with required signatures are always a pain if you work during the day. But there's nothing you can do except sign the waiver and give it one more day
