first amex bill question

do they judge you on utilization. or do they just care about paying in full. my bill will be 345 if i pay off the flight early. and around 1600 $ if i don't.

I got my first CLI when carrying a large balance and making minimum payments during 0% intro APR.

What card do you have with them and what is your limit? Keep in mind they are evaluating your ability to pay and your spending patterns as a new customer. I would pay a large chunk of the ticket off this billing cycle IMO and show a pattern of charging and paying. You want a cli of 3x if you have the revolving card, so the more you look like money is no object the better you will look in their eyes.

got it. So i'lll pay in full. and spend around another 345 next month. Everyday 2 grand.
